Your privacy is very important to us. We’ll only ever access your account to help you with a problem or fix a software bug.
When you sign up, we ask for your name and e-mail address so we can personalize your account, provide you details on all of the homes on Truepad and to send you updates or other relevant information. We’ll never sell your personal information to third parties, or use your name without first asking permission.
When you contact us with a question or to ask for help, we will keep that message and your contact information, for future reference. When you browse our pages, we'll track that information to improve our product (like “favorite” homes and to test new designs). We also store any information you volunteer to us, like surveys, for as long as it makes sense. If you want to learn more about digital information we collect or how to opt-out of collection,
The only time we’ll ever share your personal information is to:
When you are signed in to your Truepad account and using Truepad through Facebook, Google+ or any other third-party authorization service, we may use information that you agreed could be provided to us to further customize your Truepad experience.
All data is encrypted via SSL/TLS when transmitted from our servers to your browser. The database backups are also encrypted. Data isn’t encrypted while it's live in our database (since it needs to be ready to send to you when you need it).
When you cancel your account, we'll ensure that nothing is stored on our servers past 30 days. Anything you delete on your account while it's active will also be purged within 30 days (up until then it's available upon request).
We communicate with account holders regularly. You will always have the right to opt-out of some or all of our communications.
We won’t hand your data over to law enforcement unless a court order says we have to. We unconditionally reject requests from local and federal law enforcement when they seek data without a court order. And, unless we're legally prevented from it, we’ll always inform you when such requests are made.
Children can’t buy homes, at least not without the help of adults. We do not knowingly collect Personally Identifiable Information from children. If you are a parent or legal guardian and think your child has given us information to help them buy a home that you don’t want us to have -- we are impressed! You can contact us and we’ll slow them down by removing all their information from our Site. Please title your inquiries "COPPA Information Request - Child Truepad Entrepreneurship Award."
Ask us questions at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll be happy to answer them!
